I hate Brett Booth's design style

I hate Brett Booth's design style. Future Flash, like every other character Booth designs, looks like he stepped out of Tron. He panel design is very confusing to follow as there's no natural left to right, top to bottom pattern to follow. The panels float in the main frame as if they were just trapped in the Phantom Zone.
The story is OK. There are some leaps in the story which make it hard to follow. Like how Barry is examining all the bodies from Forever Evil and then he's suddenly examining someone from months before that. The dialogue feels very spare and stilted and the characters motives and personalities change on a dime to fit the story they want to tell. Venditti and Jensen need to read some Bendis books to learn how humans speak.

The Flash tries to survive the Savage World!!

Volume 6: Out of Time leads straight into this awesome tale. Barry Allen finds himself in a strange new world after being thrown into the Speed Force rupture by his future self (from volume 6). Without his powers and with murderous sentry robots, dinosaurs, and dangerous people coming after him he is forced to depend on the help from a stranger, one of many thrust into this world from all different time periods. While Barry tries to find a way back to his time, his future self starts living Barry's life in the present.
The story is awesome and certainly a nice change to see Barry having an adventure in another land seeing as how the Flash can travel through time and to other dimensions...so well done Venditti and van Jensen. I normally read through DC's normal size hardcovers in one sitting anyway, but this was a real page turner because I was so into the story and it has one helluva climax! That last page: OMG!
Brett Booth, a paleoartist (someone who draws dinosaurs and such) has crafted a breathtaking world that Barry is thrust into! The flora and fauna of this new world are rendered expertly by Booth. His penciling work has improved from volume 6.
With an exciting story where you really fear for Barry's survival and art that shows some real worldbuilding, this volume is sure to please any comics fan, but I recommend you read volume 6 first as this is a sequal.
